The current high bid sits at $28,600, but the reserve hasn’t been met, suggesting this one asks all the money. The exterior has just been fully refinished with new paint, glass and graphics and radiuses wheel arches. A line lock, real ET Mags, a driveshaft safety loop and real Nicky ladder bars all scream vintage speed. The frame is the original Henry J chassis, but it’s been fully boxed and sports a Speedway Motors straight axle up front. The Turbo-350 automatic is fine enough, but no one’s asking questions when you reveal the Ford 9-inch with 4.11 gears and a Detroit Locker out back. The proof of that is in the driveline, starting with a hot Chevrolet 383 stroker that’s recessed far back into the firewall. I promised you only legit gassers, and it's a bit unclear whether this car is a recent build or an original gasser, but I think they hit the nail on the head and built a car that nails more than just the look. Stuff a track-prepped small or big-block under the hood of the tiny Henry J and you had one of the most radical combinations of power and weight on the track, provided you could hold it in a straight line. Essentially throw-away cars, hot rodders found the Henry J to be affordable and plentiful, and able to be transformed into a serious threat on the drag strip given their relative lightweight compared to American sedans of the day. The diminutive Kaiser-Frazer product was a small economy car sold through the early 1950s with small four and six-cylinder engines. See the Chevrolet 210 here on Green Bay Craigslist. But if you do, definitely send me an email. But since my garage is approaching critical mass, I need you to go buy this thing so I can stop seeing it. Sitting pretty for a cool $6,800, I’m all about this ’55 Chev. The seller also has taillights, trim and sidemarkers that go with the car. Hell, there’s even a vintage Moon gas pedal and fuel tank included. There’s also an Oldsmobile axle out back, and the car’s bones are said to be rust free.ĭon’t count on the old school death-by-waterpipe roll cage to pass tech these days, but otherwise the interior just needs a new bucket and some safety equipment. Typical firewall mods of the day have likely been tackled to relocate the engine rearwards, and the sheetmetal dash and doghouse are all standard fare for an old strip teaser. The ’55 Chev is one of the most quintessential gassers, and this one’s right from the fiberglass front clip, to the radius-cut wheel wells and chrome straight axle up front. carwow Ltd is registered in England (company number 07103079), registered office 2nd Floor, Verde Building, 10 Bressenden Place, London, England, SW1E 5DH.It’s only after a whole lot of soul searching that I give up the goods on this one, because this crusty Chevrolet 210 is located just 45 minutes from our home office and has been tempting me on Craigslist for six months or so. 8/29/2023 0 Comments Rem sleep versus deep sleepAll finger events were assigned to the epoch in which the event commenced. Each 30-second epoch was reviewed, and each valid finger event was marked. All finger movements were manually scored by the primary researcher blind to the other PSG channels, and independently of the sleep technologist who scored the sleep. A period of at least 3 s of stable waveform at reduced amplitude was needed before a new finger event was marked. All events were marked, irrespective of duration, as they were to be subsequently categorised by duration. Events were counted if they were noticeably different (at least 200% greater in amplitude) from the waveform immediately preceding it. As the present study used a piezo-electric sensor rather than EMG to detect movement, a study-specific scoring system was devised based on some of these principles. The phasic and sustained events were summed to calculate the relevant twitch densities. Rivera‐García, Ramírez‐Salado, Corsi‐Cabrera, Calvo 13 defined any waveforms exceeding baseline by 500% as facial muscle contractions, which were categorised as phasic (1–100ms) or sustained (>100ms). Stoyva 19 identified only discrete bursts of finger activity (rather than sustained background tonus) above 20μV on the EMG and scored each burst by its duration in seconds, with any fraction of a second counted as one full second, and ignored all activity associated with awakenings and within 5 s before or after gross body movements. Several methods for scoring sleep twitches have been reported. All epochs of PSG sleep data were scored blind to finger movement data using Profusion Compumedics software (version 3.0) by a trained sleep technologist according to the AASM manual for scoring sleep. Sleep and finger twitches were measured simultaneously by PSG during nine-hour sleep opportunities (23:00–08:00). PSG electrodes were connected to each participant and a finger sensor was taped to the participants’ distal index finger joint, using adhesive electrode tape. The aim of the present study was, therefore, to determine whether finger twitching measured by a more practical and less invasive finger-mounted device would be greater in REM sleep than in NREM sleep (REM-NREM effect) and be greater in late REM sleep than in early REM sleep (time-of-night effect). However, only one study of finger twitching during sleep in adult humans was identified: Stoyva 19 examined finger activity using electrodes attached to the forearms of deaf and hearing participants during sleep, and reported that activity was greater in REM sleep than in NREM sleep, and greater in later REM sleep episodes than in the first REM sleep episode. 20 To detect REM sleep, measurement of finger twitches would appear to be more practical and less invasive to sleep than the measurement of twitches in the face or chin. Similar differences in eye, throat, wrist and ankle fine muscle activity between REM sleep and NREM sleep were reported by Baldridge, Whitman, Kramer. 6, 13– 19 Studies of sleep twitches in adult humans have focused mainly on facial and chin muscles: Rivera‐García, Ramírez‐Salado, Corsi‐Cabrera, Calvo 13 reported greater facial muscle contractions during late REM sleep than early REM sleep, and De Gennaro, Ferrara, Bertini 15 reported the same temporal pattern for chin muscles. Researchers have consistently reported elevated levels of twitching in the distal muscles of both animals and humans during REM sleep, and particularly late REM sleep. Twitches are short-duration, involuntary muscle contractions, which when observed in the paws, tails, ears and whiskers of sleeping pets are often attributed to the acting out of dreams. The purpose of this study was to assess the potential for a simple finger-mounted device to measure finger twitches and thereby differentiate periods of REM and NREM sleep. In 2017, Fitbit 11 introduced the capability to differentiate light, deep and REM sleep in wrist-worn actigraphy devices, but with a per-epoch accuracy of 69% compared with PSG, 12 the search for an accurate, cost-effective ambulatory system to measure REM sleep continues. 7, 8 Several alternative techniques have been investigated to measure REM sleep, 9, 10 with limited success. 6 The gold standard for objective measurement of REM sleep is polysomnography (PSG) which is expensive and has practical limitations. 2 REM sleep is suggested to be important for memory consolidation 3 and development, 4 and abnormal REM sleep patterns are symptomatic of chronic disorders e.g., depression 5 and narcolepsy. Since the discovery of rapid eye movements (REMs), 1 sleep has been dichotomised as non-REM (NREM) sleep, which shows the restfulness normally associated with sleep, or REM sleep, characterised by REMs, skeletal muscle inhibition and cortical activation similar to wakefulness. 8/29/2023 0 Comments Toys r us texasThe square footage may expand during the holiday season, according to Macy’s. "I gotta figure that out," said Schwartz. of Chiefs Wire) that he's working toward full health before he moves on to the next chapter of his career. Schwartz had surgery on his back in February, and he said to KCSP Radio in Kansas City (via Ed Easton Jr. The back injury that robbed Schwartz of 10 games last year (and contributed to the Chiefs getting shelled in Super Bowl LV) got the 32-year-old released in the offseason. That stellar year earned Schwartz his fourth All-Pro nod. In 2019, in Kansas City's march to a championship, the 6'5", 320-pounder played 1,046 snaps-and didn't allow a single sack. Seeing that the Chiefs are very little cap space to work this, Schwartz would have to be willing to sign to a minimum contract, which definitely isn’t out of the realm of possibility.Heading into 2020, Mitchell Schwartz was regarded by many as the NFL's preeminent right tackle. Having Niang sit behind Schwartz for the season, learn from him, and then re-evaluate the position next offseason wouldn’t be a bad course of action for Kansas City. While his running blocking grade is solid (74.1), Niang struggles in pass protection, giving up 20 total pressure this season, which includes, two hits and one sack allowed. While the offensive line play for the Chiefs is much improved, one spot that has struggled is right tackle, the position Schwartz played in Kansas City for 70 games.įirst-year tackle Lucas Niang - a 2020 opt-out - has garnered a 62.4 overall grade from PFF through five games this season. Looking at the offensive line play of Kansas City this season, an argument could be made that the defending AFC champions should try and coerce Schwartz to join them, at the very least for the remainder of the season. If he’s fully recovered from February’s back surgery, Schwartz needs to be signed immediately.” “Those are just three of many franchises that would benefit immensely from adding a stalwart tackle. He earned a respectable 74.7 grade from PFF last year and scored at least an 84.0 mark in each of the two seasons prior,” Kay wrote. “Schwartz is still a major asset at one of the game’s most important positions when healthy. 4 on his list was Schwartz, who Kay wrote would be a good fit for the New York Giants, Las Vegas Raiders, and Carolina Panthers, noting the offensive line struggles for each of those teams. Now that it’s been over a month since Schwartz made those comments regarding his recovery timeline, he’s even closer to being fully healthy. It’s taken a little longer than I would have liked or we would have liked but once I’m 100% fully ready to go, I think I can make that decision and figure out what’s next for me.” “You know, I’m in the last stages of recovery here hoping to kind of get over this final hump. “Yeah, I’d say still current NFL player,” Schwartz told the Arrowhead Addict podcast on September 3 when asked if he still considers himself an active NFL player. Schwartz injured his back last season which required surgery on February 24 and a rigorous rehab process has him not quite 100% healthy as he battles through the final stages of recovery. Schwartz, a four-year starter and former All-Pro for the Kansas City Chiefs, finds himself as a free agent currently due to his injury recovery. One NFL free agent that has flown under the radar this season but could become very useful to several teams in the near future is offensive tackle, Mitchell Schwartz.
